I remember the first time I used a mouse. The mouse pad was a solid blue piece of cloth glued to a chunk of rubber. Not the most exciting piece of equipment for our PC. Then again our PC wasn't exactly a high powered workhorse. A few years later saw a mouse pad made at a photography store; it was a picture of our dog... but still made of the same material. This day in age precise mousing requires something a little higher tech than cloth and rubber.

Enter the Tracer Mouse Pad by Cyber Snipa. This mouse pad is made from high grade materials; these materials being forged high quality acrylic class. Its like a cutting board on steroids with a USB cord to light the whole thing up. Lets take an in depth look at what Cyber Snipa brought to the table with this mouse pad.

Package

The mouse pad arrived in an oversized plain old box that somehow made it through shipping without even a scratch. Inside the mouse pad was held in place with a lot of packaging paper. It was hard to tell if anything was even inside it when I shook it up a bit.

Inside the box the Tracer mouse pad was packaged in the adult proof plastic made most common by electronics. I realized it was only two pieces sandwiched together and held in place with staples. This made opening the package much easier and less deadly for innocent bystanders...

Design

When I finally got this thing on my desk and sat my mouse on it I realized one thing, this mouse pad is huge. To put it into perspective as to how large this thing is it has a larger footprint than my laptop. At an astounding 305mm x 230mm, this mouse pad really eats up desk space. My desk has a sliding out keyboard and mouse tray, my keyboard has to sit about an inch over the mouse pad because it takes up so much room.

The mouse pad really made me smile when I finally got to use it that night. The led lights in this mouse pad managed to light up my entire keyboard tray. If you have a blue theme going for your computer case then this mouse pad is for you. You may not be able to tell from the pictures, but the LED's in this are super bright. The logos also light up from the light giving it a cool touch.
