Introduction
At one time or another everyone has listened to their favorite rock song, and played air guitar to it. Admit it, you know you have... sometimes even in front of the mirror. Now thanks to a game called Guitar Hero by RedOctane, we get a chance to play some of the greatest rock songs with an almost real guitar, instead of air.
For around roughly $80.00 you can get a guitar controller that replicates a Gibson S.G. guitar. In addition you also get a sheet of stickers that you can use to customize your guitar, a shoulder strap, and a copy of the game. The price sounds steep, but the feeling of playing classic rock songs like Cream's "Crossroads", Boston's "More Than a Feeling", and Ozzie's "Iron Man ", compares only to actually playing in the respective bands. For most of us this will be the closest we'll ever get to being an actual Juke Box Hero.(Music Pun intended)

Song List 3/5 (NOTE: Since there is really no story to Guitar Hero "Song List", will take place of that regular review category)
Some of the artists in Guitar Hero include Boston, David Bowie, Ozzie Osborne (while he was in Black Sabbath), Queen, Judas Priest, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and more. If that tease list doesn't excite you, check your pulse. You may be dead.

The list of 47 total tracks are arranged in order of increasing difficulty starting with the easy "I Love Rock N' Roll", and ending with the hand breaking "Iron Man". So you can work your way to the harder ones.

Now, I do have a complaint, which maybe hard to believe since Guitar Hero is just unbelievable. The one thing I found, a few of the more well known, but deserving bands, such as AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, and KISS were no where to be seen or played in the game. That kind of put a damper on it for me, because a game like this demands such great songs as "Sweet Child of Mine" or "Back in Black". It maybe because the the bands were not willing to release the rights to their songs, and not necessarily the developers fault.
